Peruvian Tweed is composed of two soft-twist plies that are wrapped with a third, more tightly twisted ply. Two or three colors are used, giving it a ragg look. The color variation makes for an interesting visual texture when the yarn is woven or knitted. It can be combined with the evenspun Prime Alpaca for an interesting contrast. Like all alpacas, it is very warm for its weight.
