The double treadle Kromski Minstrel is a compact upright wheel, and it allows for a very quick change from double drive to single drive operation. Like the other Kromski wheels, it is made of European alder and birch. This is a popular wheel for reenactors because the only plastic parts are the bobbin bearings. The flyer rides on leather bearings and leather straps connect the treadles to the footmen.
