Cottolin is a nice blend--a little linen for high absorbency but enough cotton for some stretch in the warp. The resulting fabric is so easy to care for, it is often used for towels, placemats, or clothing because it can stand up to repeated washing. This weight of cottolin is easy to substitute in projects calling for 8/2 cotton. We also stock large cones of bleached white cottolin and natural cottolin, which are more economical and make great background colors.

We carry a second line of cottolin in a very similar weight: 8/2 Cottolin. You can use the two together for even more color options.
