Cottolin is a nice blend--a little linen for high absorbency but enough cotton for some stretch in the warp. The resulting fabric is so easy to care for, it is often used for towels, placemats, or clothing because it can stand up to repeated washing. This weight of cottolin, 22/2, is easy to substitute in projects calling for 8/2 cotton.

We stock the 8.75 oz tubes of cottolin, but the large cones are more economical for those weaving lots of projects using natural as the main color. These cones are priced by weight.
