Cascade is an 8/2 spun silk from Henry's Attic. It is gorgeous as it is, with a natural bright cream color, but if you have a hankering for 8/2 silk in colors, it takes dye well using a protein dye like Washfast. We have used in in an elegant scarf, but it would also make nice fabric for clothing.

Cascade comes in a reeled hank that will need to be wound into a ball before it is used. Because the yarn is so fine and slippery, we don't wind these skeins before shipping. If you would like instructions for winding the yarn, please request them in the box headed "Shipping Instructions" during the check out process. Using a ball winder and swift will make this task easier.
