This yarn is a favorite for dishtowels, placemats, and baby wraps. It is unmercerized cotton, so it is absorbent and soft, with a matte finish. We carry two lines of 8/2 cotton, but this one has a slightly firmer twist, so it is stronger. Thinking of using natural or white with a dark, saturated color? This yarn is generally colorfast but strong colors can bleed if the fabric is left in a wet pile in the washing machine.
