Unfortunately, the manufacturer of this yarn has very few colors in stock and can't tell us how long backorders will take. The colors shown in our palette are the ones we have in stock now or expect to receive shortly. If a color is out of stock at our store and the manufacturer doesn't have it, we have removed it from the palette. As colors become available, they will return to the palette.
6/2 Cotton
6/2 cotton is a work horse yarn, making great hefty towels, colorful placemats, and soft baby blankets. It is unmercerized, so it has a matte finish and a soft, slightly fuzzy hand when compared to mercerized cotton. You can machine wash and dry it as long as the piece is hemmed or has twisted or braided fringe. Items with loose fringe need to be hand washed and dried flat.
This cotton is grown, spun, and dyed in the US!
Please note: Cone sizes vary on the 6/2 Cotton, but are generally 0.75 to 0.90 pounds(12-15 oz). The price per cone is calculated based on the actual weight of the cone, calculated using the price per pound given next to the color name in pull-down box above. Please enter the weight that you would like for the quantity and we will match the weight with available cones as closely as possible. Keep in mind that if you enter a quantity of "1", you will most likely receive a quantity of less than a pound. If you have a minimum yardage required, please tell us in the box labeled "Enter any special instructions for your order here" during the checkout process. We are happy to contact you with the total for your order. If you would like us to confirm the total with you before shipping, please tell us in the box on the checkout page.
